Elmore County 9-1-1 is served by a redundant Metro Ethernet network that eliminates a single point of failure. This system was recognized in 2006 as an "Outstanding 9-1-1 Program"
The Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) serving Elmore County are Tallassee, Eclectic, Wetumpka, Millbrook, and the Sheriff's Office.
